Guardian agreement for Walker's daughter

Paul Walker's relatives are supposedly close to formalising a guardianship agreement with the mother of his daughter Meadow.

Paul Walker's ex has reportedly agreed to settle guardianship of their daughter out of court.

The Fast and Furious star died at the age of 40 in a fiery car crash on November 30 last year.

According to reports, he left his entire fortune to his 15-year-old daughter Meadow and asked the courts to grant legal guardianship to his mother Cheryl.

Radar Online now reveals Paul's mum asked a judge in Los Angeles to remove a guardianship petition she recently filed, as she and Meadow's mother Rebecca Soteros are prepared to come to a custody agreement out of court.

The magistrate has hired an investigator to speak to the teenager and the rest of the family in an effort to find a rapid solution to the situation, according to the outlet.

Last week Cheryl filed legal papers asking to be Meadow's legal guardian, claiming Soteros suffered from a drinking problem.

TMZ previously claimed Soteros was arrested for driving under the influence in 2003 and again last year.

Apparently Meadow came to live with her father three years before his death because her mother was too overwhelmed by addiction to provide proper care, according to TMZ.

Cheryl purportedly stated she is more than qualified to be Meadow's guardian, as she has raised four children of her own, is a registered nurse and a "loving person".
