Halves spearhead Manly's Nines squad

Daly Cherry-Evans and Kieran Foran will team up for the first time for Manly at the Auckland Nines after featuring in the 18-strong squad.

Star halves pairing Daly Cherry-Evans and Kieran Foran will spearhead Manly's Auckland Nines charge.

They will join forces at the tournament for the first time after featuring in coach Geoff Toovey's 18-man squad on Friday.

Foran was last year rested from the inaugural Nines following World Cup duty for New Zealand while Cherry-Evans will again captain the Sea Eagles.

Toovey has also included youngsters Clinton Gutherson and Tom Trbojevic as well as new recruit Feleti Mateo.

Manly has been grouped with Parramatta, St George Illawarra and Newcastle.
