Richmond star Dustin Martin will play in Saturday's AFL match against West Cost despite a cheekbone fracture.

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick confirmed before Thursday morning training that Martin has the all-clear.

But it remains unclear whether Martin will wear a helmet after he was hurt early in last week's win over Collingwood.
