Australia's bowling all-rounder John Hastings will rejoin Durham for the 2015 English season following his hugely successful stint for the county this year.
The 28-year-old, who has played 15 times for his Australia in all formats, was one of the driving forces behind Durham winning the One-Day Cup and avoiding relegation from the County Championship.
He took 65 wickets in 26 matches across all three formats, with his new-ball partnership with Chris Rushworth particularly impressive, and will return to the north-east next year after completing the Australian domestic season with Victoria, subject to visa clearance and governing body approval.
"I can't wait to get back to Durham and lend a hand in pushing for silverware next season. I feel I have a very close bond with the lads now and can't wait to get next season under way," Hasting said.
As well as his magnificent bowling, Hastings also proved quite handy with the bat and thumped Durham's fastest ever half-century when he reached 50 from just 19 balls against Northamptonshire Steelbacks in July.
Meanwhile, Leicestershire have secured the services of Victorian seamer Clint McKay for the 2015 season.
McKay, 31, has one Test appearance to his name and previously played for Yorkshire.
