Hawthorn have recalled Jonathon Ceglar at the expense of fellow ruckman Ben McEvoy for Saturday night's round-22 AFL blockbuster against Geelong at the MCG.

The third-placed Hawks, coming off last week's loss to Fremantle, have made four changes for their clash with their great modern-day rivals.

Star forward Jarryd Roughead and tough onballer Brad Sewell return alongside Ceglar and Matt Spangher, while Ryan Schoenmakers, Tim O'Brien, Taylor Duryea and McEvoy have been axed.

Second-placed Geelong regain Brownlow Medallist Jimmy Bartel and forward Jordan Murdoch, in place of Jed Bews and Billie Smedts.

Collingwood welcome back skipper Scott Pendlebury in one of six changes to their side for Saturday's game against Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium.

Dayne Beams, Ben Reid, Heritier Lumumba, Alan Toovey and Travis Cloke are all out of the side because of injuries and Ben Kennedy has been dropped.

Key forward Jesse White returns for the Magpies, alongside Sam Dwyer, Josh Thomas, Tom Langdon and 19-year-old East Perth recruit Jackson Ramsay who's on debut.

The Giants lose injured pair Callan Ward and Jonathon Patton.

Port have dropped Tom Logan and Aaron Young for Angus Monfries and Jackson Trengove ahead of Friday night's clash at Adelaide Oval against Carlton.

The Blues regain Kane Lucas and Blaine Johnson. Nick Holman, 19, is on debut.

Centreman Scott Thompson is one of three inclusions for eighth-placed Adelaide who face sixth-placed North Melbourne in a crucial encounter in Hobart on Saturday.

North have recalled Lachie Hansen and teenager Kayne Turner for suspended pair Daniel Wells and Brent Harvey.

Essendon have dropped Jake Melksham and will be without injured midfielder Dyson Heppell for Saturday's Etihad Stadium clash with Gold Coast. Forward Jake Carlisle returns for the Bombers.

Gold Coast have dropped Louis Herbert while Charlie Dixon has a thigh injury.

Forward Mark Le Cras is back for West Coast who host Melbourne at Patersons Stadium on Saturday.

Fremantle lose suspended midfield star Nat Fyfe but regain small forward Hayden Ballantyne for Sunday's game at the Gabba against Brisbane, who are minus Marco Paparone due to a shoulder injury.

The Western Bulldogs have dropped ruckman 2013 All-Australian ruckman Will Minson for Sunday's match at Etihad Stadium against Sydney who are without injured onballers Craig Bird and Josh Kennedy.

St Kilda have named 196cm forward Spencer White, 19, in their squad for Sunday's MCG clash with Richmond. Reece Conca, back from suspension, is a possible inclusion for the Tigers.
