Hawthorn have recalled Jack Gunston and dropped Billy Hartung for the AFL grand final against West Coast.

While the Eagles are unchanged, the Hawks have decided Gunston is ready to return after two games out with an ankle injury.

As expected, Hawks captain Luke Hodge is named despite the two-time Norm Smith medal winner having a light week after hurting his leg late in the preliminary final win over Fremantle.
