The Swans, Dockers and Adelaide remain the only undefeated sides in the competition.

Fremantle downed West Coast by 30 points in Sunday's western derby, booting the first 11 goals to take the sting out of the traditionally fierce contest.

The Swans won their cross-town clash by 21 points, Lance Franklin kicking five goals against a spirited Greater Western Sydney.

Adelaide posted a 25-point win over Melbourne at home, with Bernie Vince attracting plenty of boos for his hard tag of Patrick Dangerfield.

Also on Saturday, Essendon accounted for Carlton by 21 points at the MCG.

Chris Yarran faces near-certain suspension for hitting Paul Chapman in that game, while a hamstring injury to Adam Cooney is one of few concerns for Bombers coach James Hird.

Collingwood rolled to a 74-point win over St Kilda on Friday night, while Richmond got up by 79 points and made light work of Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday night.

Luke Hodge starred in the Hawks' clinical rout of the Bulldogs on Sunday, helping himself to a career-best 44 possessions.

Geelong had one fit man on the bench for the fourth quarter of their clash with Gold Coast because of injuries to Jimmy Bartel, Mathew Stokes and Tom Lonergan.

But the Cats prevailed by nine points, leaving the Suns, Blues and Lions as the only sides yet to register a victory in 2015.
