Parramatta superstar Jarryd Hayne has given the beleaguered Eels a boost by revealing he could return to action against the Wests Tigers on Friday.

The NSW fullback hasn't played in almost two months after damaging his hamstring against the Sydney Roosters.

The Eels are looking to avoid an 11th straight loss when the Tigers visit Parramatta Stadium and Hayne said on Twitter he was ready to return.

"Strength fitness test yesterday came back with better the expected results. Looking to play this Friday after 8weeks on the sidelines," Hayne said.
