Ireland props Cian Healy and Mike Ross have recovered from their injuries and are ready to strengthen the scrum against England in Saturday's Six Nations match at Twickenham.

The front-rowers came through Leinster's PRO12 victory against Cardiff at the weekend and were named in a 34-man squad on Monday.

Loosehead prop Healy is back from knee surgery, while tighthead Ross is over his hamstring complaint.

They should make their first Six Nations appearances this season in the third round, with Ireland yet to win a match.

Lock Dave Foley replaces Mike McCarthy, who has been sidelined with concussion. Jordi Murphy slots in for Sean O'Brien (hamstring) and Craig Gilroy takes over from Dave Kearney (shoulder).

Tadgh Furlong and Rob Herring have thigh injuries and are rehabilitating with their provincial teams.
