Hells Angel arrested after Sydney murder

A Hells Angels member has been charged with several gun offences as police continue to investigate the murder of fellow gang member Tyrone Slemnik.

Sydney detectives working to solve the murder of bikie Tyrone Slemnik have arrested a fellow Hells Angels member on guns charges.

Mr Slemnik, 42, was gunned down in an Eastlakes car park in Sydney south on July 8 last year.

An associate was shot in the leg during the incident, which police suspect was part of a turf war between the Hells Angels and Comanchero gangs.

Three men, including two Hells Angels members, have so far been charged over the shoot-out, but no one has been charged with the father-of-four's murder.

On Thursday police laid fresh charges against one of the already-charged Hells Angels men.

The 26-year-old Casula man is accused of several offences including possessing a loaded firearm in a public place, possessing an unauthorised pistol and participating in a criminal group.

He was granted bail during an appearance before Liverpool Local Court on Thursday and is set to reappear in that court on February 27.

The investigation into Mr Slemnik's murder continues.
