He's been a sleeping giant for most of his Gold Coast career but Titans coach Neil Henry is hoping Dave Taylor can wake up for his final matches in the NRL.
The 120kg backrower has just four games left with the Titans before heading to France to join Super League club Catalans Dragons.
Before then Henry wants Taylor to fire up and go out with a bang, particularly in Sunday's clash with Canterbury in Gosford.
With captain Nate Myles (shoulder) still sidelined, Taylor's size and experience will be a crucial element against the Bulldogs - who boast one of the competition's biggest packs.
"I thought he was a bit quiet - he wasn't on his own there - against Melbourne," Henry said.
"He's talked to the boys about finishing, playing some solid football and doing his best for the team.
"His aim should be to walk away from this place with people going 'why's he going?' and that's the challenge for him in the next four games.
"We're going to have to be physical because that's how they play and you need to stop them."
The Titans have recalled Eddy Pettybourne in a further boost to their ranks for the clash with the Bulldogs after the New Zealand forward missed last weekend's loss to the Storm with a virus.
Former Brisbane powerhouse David Hala has also kept his spot on the interchange bench after making his debut for the Titans last week.
Beau Falloon comes into hooker after being overlooked for Daniel Mortimer in Melbourne, with the latter dropping to a six-man bench along with Kierran Moseley.
