Essendon captain Dyson Heppell hopes Joe Daniher will make his long-awaited AFL comeback in the Good Friday blockbuster against North Melbourne.

Injury has sidelined the Bombers key forward since early last season.

Heppell said on Monday that Daniher has looked good at training and he hopes the All Australian will play against the Kangaroos.
