A pair of British YouTube stars have finally answered what we've all been wondering - what happens when a man explodes out of a giant water balloon in slow motion?

Well, wonder no more.

Gavin Free and Dan Gruchy have built an online reputation for using a high-speed camera to capture what's usually missed in a blink of an eye.

In the past, the pair have recorded explosions, mouse traps and even footballs to the face in glorious slow motion.

In this video, Dan Gruchy climbs into a 1.8 metre balloon while his co-host fills it with water.

The result? Well, we're no physics major - but all that liquid has to go somewhere.
