Hockey to meet Hong Kong central bank

Joe Hockey will hold talks with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on Tuesday during his flying visit to Asia.

The treasurer was in Beijing on Monday to formally sign Australia up to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank as a founder member.

He took the opportunity to hold bilateral talks with Chinese Finance Minister Lou Jiwei, while meeting with other finance ministers on the sidelines of the official signing ceremony to discuss the growing crisis in Greece.

Mr Hockey will arrive back in Australia on Wednesday.
