Hodge closes in on Hawks return

Hawks captain Luke Hodge will return against Gold Coast in Launceston on Sunday in his first game since injuring his knee at the end of April.

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson hasn't decided role Luke Hodge will play against Gold Coast in Launceston today in his long-awaited AFL return from a knee injury.

Hodge will play his first game since the end of April but Clarkson believes Hodge will be ready to go at Aurora Stadium against the Suns.

Meanwhile last night, St Kilda upset Geelong, GWS thrashed Carlton and Richmond beat the Lions.
