Actress Cynthia Lynn, who starred at Helga in the beloved 1960s TV comedy Hogan's Heroes, has died in a US hospital at the age of 76.

Hogan's Heroes star Cynthia Lynn has died at the age of 76.

The actress played Helga on the beloved 1960s TV series and also appeared in classic TV hits Mission: Impossible, The Odd Couple and The Six Million Dollar Man.

Family members tell TMZ.com that Lynn was admitted to hospital with Hepatitis on Friday and died on Monday night.

Lynn was born Zinta Valda Zimilis in Riga, Latvia in 1936.
