Beyond Blue says a new survey suggests Australian teenage boys are engaging in homophobia at an alarming rate.

Beyond Blue says the study sampled 300 randomly selected 14-17 year old young men from around Australia.

In response to the findings, it's redeploying an anti-discrimination initiative known as the Stop. Think. Respect: Left Hand campaign.

Beyond Blue CEO Georgie Harman told Kristina Kukolja the cross-media campaign attempts to counter actions and attitudes that are doing harm to the mental health of LGBTI youth and placing them at risk of suicide.
