Labor leader Luke Foley has had a hostile reception in Goulburn, where Liberal party supporters tried to hijack a press conference.
The NSW opposition leader was shadowed by a handful of Liberal party supporters while speaking outside Goulburn Hospital, to which he is pledging a $270 million commitment.
The Goulburn seat, held by Pru Goward, looks set to remain in coalition hands at Saturday's election.
Both Labor and Liberal supporters, holding opposing signs, could be seen jostling for position behind the state ALP leader, and spent much of the 10-minute announcement in a game of one-upmanship.
"You're not from around here," one Labor supporter was heard to saying to a Liberal supporter.
A man wearing a blue "I Like Mike" T-shirt and holding a sign reading "Labor = no new hospitals" worked his way behind Mr Foley when one of his aides quickly stepped in to try and hide the man from TV cameras.
Other supporters could be seen pushing red Labor signs to cover the larger black signs that were bagging Mr Foley's announcement.
But it wasn't all party politics.
Minutes before the game of signs began on the footpath outside the hospital, a woman who was trying to make her way inside pushed through the scrum.
"Don't block the f***ing walkway, I want to get into the hospital," she said before disappearing inside.
