Investigators are trying to determine what caused a major factory fire in Sydney's west overnight.

Up to 80 firefighters battled the Chester Hill blaze that destroyed a bathroom store and damaged a noodle factory.

No one was injured.

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said part of the factory was constructed with fibro material and precautions were taken due to asbestos concerns.
