Hull KR turned the tables in sensational fashion to knock Wigan out of rugby league's Challenge Cup with a nail-biting 16-12 victory.
Just a fortnight after suffering a 60-0 humiliation in Super League, Rovers exacted revenge in a rousing sixth-round tie at Leigh Sports Village.
Despite an error-strewn performance, the Warriors were on course for a record-extending 20th trophy when leading 12-10 with eight minutes to go.
However, Hull KR centre and former Parramatta NRL player Ken Sio pounced on the latest of a series of handling errors, this time from England international Dan Sarginson, to go over for the match-winning try.
Sio had pledged there would be a different result, having been in the side destroyed so pitifully at the DW Stadium, but such a turnaround in fortunes could rarely have been envisaged outside the Rovers camp.
Having skipper Terry Campese and points machine Josh Mantellato back in the side helped but it was clear from the start that the Robins were determined to gain atonement and how their fans, given free tickets to help make up for their 11-try embarrassment, lapped it up.
They led 6-2 after the first quarter - at the same stage in the league game they trailed 34-0 - and never let up.
