Hungary's Holocaust role debated

Hungary's role in the Holocaust has become the subject of fierce debate during the week that the world remembers the six million Jews and other victims of Hitler's Nazi Germany.

A prominent historian is accusing the Hungarian government of trying to whitewash Hungary's past.

And Hungarian President Janos Ader says Hungarian authorities collaborated with the occupying Germans in a way that seemed to fulfil the will of Hitler's Nazis.

Central Europe correspondent Kerry Skyring spoke to Hannah Sinclair.
