Hunt for 'lonely heart' criminal ramps up

More arrest warrants have been issued for a man who allegedly selects his robbery victims via online classifieds site Craigslist.

The hunt for a drifter who floats between NSW and Queensland accused of targeting men through lonely hearts advertisements on Craigslist has intensified with detectives linking him to more offences.

Beau Robert Bartlett, who has the word "player" tattooed on his arm, is wanted in connection to an armed robbery last December at a Liverpool unit in Sydney's west.

Bartlett allegedly arranged to meet a man who had posted a "looking for love" advertisement on online classifieds site Craigslist.

When Bartlett arrived he allegedly pulled a knife on the man and ransacked his unit.

After a warrant for the 31-year-old's arrest was issued this week, detectives from Ashfield linked the alleged Craigslist abuser to other offences, including robbery and choke person with intent.

It is understood the offences relate to a robbery in Croydon last December, which was also linked to a meeting arranged via online classifieds.

Bartlett has no fixed abode and police believe he floats between NSW and Queensland.

Police say anyone who spots Bartlett should not approach him and call triple zero.
