Hunt on for bottle-throwing Bulldogs fans

Police have released images of 13 Canterbury Bulldogs supporters wanted in connection with ugly scenes at Sydney's ANZ stadium on Good Friday.

The hunt is on for more than a dozen Canterbury Bulldogs supporters wanted in connection with ugly scenes at Sydney's ANZ stadium on Good Friday.

Police have released images of 13 fans they'd like to speak to after NRL officials were pelted with plastic bottles and other projectiles as they left the playing field.

One referee was treated in hospital with a broken shoulder after he was hit by one of the bottles hurled by fans after a decision to award South Sydney a match-winning last-gasp penalty.

Those found guilty of throwing projectiles onto the field of play face a $150 fine and possible bans from Sydney Olympic Park.

The NRL has also flagged the possibility of life bans.

Police are urging anyone with photos or video of the incident to get in touch.

Digital files can be uploaded to Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Two men have already been charged in connection to separate assaults that occurred before and after the game.
