Hunt still on for teen who attacked women

Queensland police still haven't found the male teenager who attacked two women in separate incidents in a reserve near Logan.

Police are still hunting for a teenager who attacked two women separately at a reserve south of Brisbane.

The teen grabbed a 26-year-old woman as she walked through the Boronia Bushland Reserve, near Logan, on Thursday morning.

He knocked her to the ground and lay on top of her, but she managed to escape.

The second woman, 39, was attacked at about the same time of day on Saturday when he grabbed her in a bear hug and tried to force her into nearby bushes.

Police are still searching for him, and say he's aged between 15 and 18, Caucasian and has sandy, blond hair.

Officers have doorknocked the area and are continuing to conduct patrols, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
