Hurt Burban out of French Six Nations team

A hamstring injury has forced flanker Antoine Burban out of France's squad for their Six Nations rugby match against Italy.

French flanker Antoine Burban will miss Sunday's second Six Nations fixture against Italy with a hamstring problem and will be replaced in the squad by Ibrahim Diarra of Castres, team management announced on Monday.

Burban, 26, came on in the second half of Saturday's dramatic 26-24 win against England but tests on Monday confirmed the injury and forced him to pull out of the Italy clash.

Diarra, 30, was part of the Castres team that won the Top 14 title last season.

He has played for France before, in a 25-13 win against Italy in 2008.

He joins the 30-man squad which will be cut to 25 on Wednesday by coach Philippe Saint-Andre.
