Illness forces Noll to cancel tour

An ear infection has caused rocker Shannon Noll to cancel his Invincbile tour shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong.

Illness has forced Australian rocker Shannon Noll to cancel his remaining Invincible tour shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong.

The former Australian Idol runner developed an inner ear infection after his Toowoomba show last Friday.

He was due to play in Sydney this weekend before shows in Melbourne and Geelong.

"I'm really disappointed to have to cancel these shows," he said in a statement.

"(But) as I prepare to release new music it's important I stay healthy so I can return to the charts bigger and better than before."

Noll hopes to release his new album, which has a pop edge, later this year.

A full refund will be offered to all ticketholders, who are advised to contact their point of purchase to get their money back.
