A Royal Flying Doctor Service plane has been grounded after a mid-air incident in Mt Isa.
Health Minister Cameron Dick says the incident occurred just after take-off from Mount Isa on Thursday morning.
The pilot turned back and landed the plane.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau are investigating.
