More than a dozen Indian-Australian groups are stepping up a campaign to support the rebuilding effort after devastating flooding in northern India last month.
Joint secretary for humanitarian non-profit group SEWA International Australia, Anand Sundaresan says fundraising is well underway, and they're now at the halfway mark with $15,000 dollars raised so far.
Mr Sundaresan told Sonja Heydeman rebuilding is desperately needed to help people re-establish their lives.
