Indian keeper Saha out of 3rd England Test

A thigh injury has forced Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha out of the third Test against England and he will be replaced by Parthiv Patel.

Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha will miss the third Test against England with a thigh injury and will be replaced by Parthiv Patel.

Saha strained his left thigh during India's 246-run win in the second Test at Vizag.

A short statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India explained he had been advised to rest "as a precautionary measure".

Patel, who has played 20 Tests but none since 2008, will come into the team on Saturday in Mohali when the hosts will be out to consolidate their 1-0 lead, with three matches to play.
