Amy Joslyn was chosen out of hundreds of applicants from around Australia to become CEO of Westpac for a day.

She spent the day alongside Australia's first female CEO Gail Kelly, undertaking tasks such as meeting Westpac's biggest customers and attending meetings.

Amy is the first person in her family to go to university, studying business at Edith Cowan University and working as a Westpac bank teller in the holidays.

She says she wants to show Indigenous women how they can achieve in big business and hopes to take some pointers off Ms Kelly.

"She is definitely a role model and she is so easy to get along with," says Amy, "my family is very, very proud".

The program is part of Generation One's CEO for the Day campaign, where ten young Indigenous people shadow ten high-powered CEOs.
