Inman leaves Rebels for French Top 14 club

Melbourne Rebels centre Mitch Inman has signed a two-year deal with French Top 14 club Oyonnax.

Centre Mitch Inman will leave the Melbourne Rebels at the end of the Super Rugby season to join French club Oyonnax.

Inman, a veteran of 98 Super Rugby matches, has signed a two-year deal with Oyonnax, who won promotion to the Top 14 last season.

The 28-year-old from Sydney began his career in 2009 at the Western Force before joining the Rebels two years later.

He has played 11 games this season, mainly at inside centre.

Inman has never played for Australia but was a mid-tour call-up for the Wallabies in Europe in 2012.
