Obed Karwhin lived the dream of many budding rugby league players when he scored three tries on debut for his club's Under 20s side.

Karwhin plays with the Wests Tigers - but his path to the team has been far from conventional.

He arrived in Australia a decade ago as a refugee from the Ivory Coast, having never picked up a rugby ball.
