Former New Zealand international Krisnan Inu is to extend his stay in Super League after signing a new 12-month contract with Catalans Dragons.
The 28-year-old centre, who had been linked with a move to Hull, has scored seven tries in 12 appearances since joining the Dragons on a short-term deal from French rugby union side Stade Francais in June.
Catalans coach Laurent Frayssinous said: "I am delighted that Krisnan has chosen to stay with us next season.
"He is a really talented player who can do what only a few players in Super League can do. He settled in really well here and showed some great qualities with us since his arrival, although he does have to improve his consistency.
"He will have a break during the off season for the first time in two years so it will allow him to recharge the batteries and work hard when the pre-season begins."
Inu was a member of the Kiwis' 2008 World Cup-winning team and played in the NRL for Canterbury Bulldogs, Parramatta and the Warriors before briefly switching codes a year ago.
He said: "I would like to thank the club, in particular (chairman) Bernard Guasch, Laurent Frayssinous and the staff for having belief in me and my ability to contribute to the 2016 season.
"I'm happy to be a Dragon for another season and I hope to make it a big one for all the players, old and new, and especially for our great fans."
