Club Marconi in Sydney's west was packed to the rafters with football fans this morning to watch Italy's 2-0 Euro 2016 victory over Belgium.
The fixture was especially significant for the Gelonese family.
Daniel Gelonese is a chef at Club Marconi and although he's been brought up to cheer Italy at every turn, he had to work duirng the match.
His dad Bruno and brother Michael went to watch the match against Belgium to support him.
Bruno told SBS learning the love of football from his father meant his boys had no choice growing up in Australia.
"I've contaminated them, I love being Italian, it's a great feeling," he said.

"We're always hoping for Italy to win."
Given the good start made by Italy, Daniel said he'd be looking for time off work next time Italy's playing.
"I've told them already, don't roster me on when Italy's on again," he said.
The entire family supports Australia when the Socceroos are playing but allegiances are torn when Italy enters the picture.
Daniel said Italy was his first love because of the country's success on the global stage, while younger brother Michael can't choose when it comes to football.
"You can see the new generations coming through are very passionate about their culture and passionate about soccer as well" Bruno said.
