Canterbury's Josh Jackson and Newcastle's Jacob Saifiti have been hit with round 16 charges by the NRL match review committee but can escape bans with early guilty pleas.
NSW star Jackson was charged with a grade one dangerous throw for a tackle on Brisbane's Tevita Pangai in the Bulldogs' 40-14 win on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium.
Saifiti was hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a 'crusher' tackle on St George Illawarra back-rower Tyson Frizell in the Dragons' 30-18 win at Hunter Stadium on Saturday.
Both Jackson and Saifiti will be free to play if they plead guilty early. They will both serve a one match suspension if they challenge the charge at the NRL judiciary and lose.
