Canterbury's Josh Jackson and Newcastle's Jacob Saifiti have avoided suspension after taking early guilty pleas on NRL match review committee charges from round 16.
NSW star Jackson was charged with a grade one dangerous throw for a tackle on Brisbane's Tevita Pangai in the Bulldogs' 40-14 win on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium.
Saifiti was hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a 'crusher' tackle on St George Illawarra back-rower Tyson Frizell in the Dragons' 30-18 win at Hunter Stadium on Saturday.
Both Jackson and Saifiti are free to play this weekend after their charges fell below the 100 demerit point one game suspension level.
Jackson and Saifiti are the only players charged from round 16, after the MRC advised on Monday no citations had been made from Sunday's fixtures.
North Queensland host Manly on Monday night in the final game of round 16.
