Debbie Rowe, the former wife of Michael Jackson, has confirmed that she will marry the late king of pop's friend, gay porn producer Marc Schaffel, after previously insisting she was not engaged to him.
Reports surfaced last month after Rowe was photographed wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.
Rowe at first denied the claims, but has since confirmed the engagement, saying she she initially turned down Schaffel's proposal because she feared she had terminal cancer, after doctors found irregularities with her lymph nodes.
However, test results have shown the former nurse, mother to Jackson's two eldest children Prince Michael and Paris, has the autoimmune disease sarcoidosis, which is not life-threatening.
Rowe has told TMZ.com: "He loves me, knows my kids, loves my kids and we'll see where this goes."
She and Schaffel have yet to set a wedding date.
Rowe married Jackson in Sydney in 1996 when she was pregnant with their first child.
