Jagger's daughter misses Melbourne show

Mick Jagger's model daughter Georgia May has pulled out of Melbourne Fashion Week after the death of her father's girlfriend.

Model Georgia May, the daughter of the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger, has pulled out of Melbourne Fashion Week.

The 22-year-old was due to showcase Camilla Franks' collection, but the Sydney-based designer announced Georgia May would miss the festival following the death of her father's girlfriend, L'Wren Scott.

Scott, 49, was found dead at a New York apartment, hours after the band landed in Perth on Monday for a sold-out Australian tour.

"We offer our sincere condolences to Ms Jagger and her family," the Camilla label said in a statement on Tuesday.
