An Adelaide trucking company boss jailed for the negligent manslaughter of one of his drivers is seeking to appeal against his conviction.
Peter Francis Colbert, 56, was last week jailed for at least 10 years after he failed to repair faulty brakes on one of his trucks which led to the death of driver Robert Brimson.
Mr Brimson, 45, was killed last year when his brakes failed and he swerved to avoid other drivers but hit a pole, sacrificing his own life.
Colbert's case will return to the Court of Criminal Appeal on September 14.
