Nicholls reported the Essendon ruckman on the rare charge of abusive language early in the Bombers' loss to GWS.
Jamar gave Nicholls a piece of his mind after a marking contest on Sunday at Etihad Stadium and the umpire promptly took his number.
Nicholls also helped umpire Friday night's fiery North Melbourne v Hawthorn match.
North coach Brad Scott sensationally claimed post-match that the umpires had said during the match they did not pay high free kicks to Lindsay Thomas because he is a ducker.
Within 12 hours, it emerged Scott's claim was wrong and the Kangaroos were forced into a humiliating backdown.
