James Reyne announces acoustic tour

Former Australian Crawl frontman James Reyne will hit the road for an acoustic tour across Australia during April and May.

James Reyne will revisit Australian Crawl songs, solo hits and Company of Strangers tracks in acoustic mode for a national tour in April and May.

Reyne, who in January was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia, will take Tracy and Brett Kingman on the road for a tour titled A Crawl to Now.

The nostalgia for Reyne's old band Australian Crawl is still strong with a Greatest Hits album released in January, reaching the top 10 on the ARIA album charts.

Reyne said in a statement: "Whilst I'm not inclined to get all nostalgic, it feels like the right time to go through this material and present it songbook style.

"The songs we've chosen are a lot of fun to perform - and it scratches my never-ending itch to tour, to play live!"
