Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps has been moved out of the intensive care ward at Royal Perth Hospital and been placed in the Coronary Care Unit.
Continuing to improve Cripps is now walking, talking and eating and will remain in hospital for further tests and monitoring.
Cripps, a former St Kilda player suffered a heart attack while running on Saturday, when he was rushed to hospital.
Cripps was successfully taken out of an induced coma on Monday.
