Jimmy Kimmel shares baby news

Late night show host Jimmy Kimmel says his new wife, Molly McNearney, is pregnant with the couple's first child together.

US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is set to become a dad again - his new wife Molly McNearney is pregnant.

Kimmel tied the knot with McNearney, a writer for his late night show, last year and now the couple is expecting their first child together.

He made the announcement during an interview with daytime TV host Ellen DeGeneres, which is set to air in the US on Wednesday .

"I'm having a baby," and joked that DeGeneres was the mother.

Kimmel added, "No, I decided to have the first one with my wife."

The TV presenter admits he's nervous about fatherhood two decades after he last became a dad: "I have a 20 year old son and a 22 year old daughter and I've really forgotten everything."

"I told my daughter, 'Listen, there's only so much love I have to give - you're gonna have to split it up with the new kid. There's a finite amount of love and that's that.' So they're dealing with it, but it is very weird at my age. I'm going to be one of those old dads," Kimmel said.
