The family of murder victim Jody Meyers say they are devastated, numb and deeply saddened by her death.

Brother-in-law Michael Bates said the family had remained hopeful of her safe return right up until the discovery of her body on Friday, buried under concrete at a property at Mannum, east of Adelaide.

"The passing of Jody will leave an unfillable hole in our lives forever," Mr Bates said in a video statement released on Monday.

"We are blessed with good memories of our innocent, loving mother, daughter and sister who you could not fault in any way.

"These memories we will hold dear forever."

Mr Bates also thanked family and friends for their support since Ms Meyers went missing last month and thanked police for their efforts.

Ms Meyers' partner, Neil Archer, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court again on December 1.

He appeared briefly on Friday and his lawyer indicated the allegations against him would be contested.

In the family statement Mr Bates also asked for privacy.

"Let us grieve and place Jody to rest in peace," he said.
