Australian Joel Monaghan is leaving Super League club Warrington, which he captains, at the end of the season.
The former Canberra winger, who has scored 141 tries in 143 appearances for the Wolves, is one of six players departing the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Half-back Gareth O'Brien, who like Monaghan had a year left on his contract, is also being released and prop Roy Asotasi is to return to Australia after he was not offered a new deal.
The departures of Richie Myler and Chris Bridge to Catalans Dragons and Widnes respectively had already been announced and on Tuesday Warrington revealed Simon Grix would be joining the club's backroom staff.
Wolves coach Tony Smith said: "I'd like to thank each of the players for their commitment to the club and wish them well."
Monaghan, 33, whose older brother Michael took up a coaching role at Catalans Dragons after hanging up his boots at Warrington at the end of last season, was a member of the Wolves' Challenge Cup-winning team in 2012 and was appointed captain earlier this year.
The signing of Hull winger Tom Lineham and the presence of Kevin Penny and Gene Ormsby means the Wolves are likely to be well covered on the wings next year.
"I'd like to thank Joel for the service he has given over the past few years and we also appreciate his professionalism and attitude along the way," Smith said.
"His try-scoring accomplishments have helped the club achieve great things and we wish Joel every success with his future."
Former Canterbury Bulldogs and South Sydney forward Asotasi, who turns 34 in January, is expected to retire.
"We'd like to thank Roy for his services and wish him well for his future as he heads back to Australia," Smith said.
