Penrith quartet Isaac John, Adam Docker, Sam Anderson and Ben Murdoch-Masila have left the NRL club.

Former New Zealand international John is reportedly close to re-linking with Manly's new coach and former Panthers' assistant Trent Barrett by signing with the Sea Eagles.

Murdoch-Masila will reunite with former Wests Tigers mentor Tim Sheens at Salford next year, after managing six games with the Panthers since he joined in 2014.

The hard-hitting Docker notched 42 games with Penrith and is on the lookout for a new club, however it had been rumoured he would link with St George Illawarra earlier in the season and has returned to living in the South Coast region.

Meanwhile prop Sam Anderson played seven games in the top grade since his 2013 debut.
