It's one-day cricket and he's lost the mo but Mitchell Johnson isn't about to give England's batsmen any relief from his barrage of intimidating pace bowling.
Johnson will return to Australia's line-up for Friday's match at the Gabba after missing the opening one-dayer in Melbourne.
And the in-form quick says the change in format won't alter the approach which brought him 37 wickets in the 5-0 Ashes whitewash.
"Definitely, I think I proved that in the last one-day series in India and England, you can still use the short-pitched ball and be aggressive," he said.
"I really enjoy bowling with the white ball, it swings a bit more and I think you can still be as intimidating with the white ball.
"That doesn't change a thing for me."
As a player who has experienced the lows of the game as well as the current high he's riding, Johnson can understand what England captain Alastair Cook might be going through.
Cook's horror tour continued in Canberra on Tuesday as he made just one before being caught off his second ball, a negative despite England's comprehensive win over the Prime Minister's XI.
But if you think Johnson feels any sympathy towards the tourists' skipper, think again.
"I don't think I'm going to feel sorry for an opposition player," he said.
"We all go through our highs and lows and I understand that and have been through it just like any other cricketer.
"It's definitely very tough for him at the moment. Obviously everyone looks up to their captain so I'm sure he's finding it very hard at the moment.
"There's a lot of pressure on him and he's definitely feeling it."
