An Iranian journalist and photographer has created a series of graphics as a tribute to police shooting victims, in light of the recent unrest in Ferguson, where an unarmed black teen was fatally shot by police.

In each graphic, Shirin-Banou Barghi features the last words of the victims before they are shot and killed.

She tweeted that she "created these images to raise awareness about racist police violence in America and as an expression of solidarity." Barghi said the police crackdown in Ferguson reminded her of what happened in Iran during the 2009 uprising.
