AP - Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn has held on to win her first LPGA Tour title, closing with a one-under 71 to clinch the Yokohama Tire Classic in Alabama.

Jutanugarn finished at 14 under, one shot clear of South Korea's Amy Yang and Americans Morgan Pressel and Stacy Lewis.

"I feel like the last three holes I can't control anything," an emotional Jutanugarn told Golf Channel.

"My hands shake, my legs shake. I'm very proud right now."

Australia's Minjee Lee carded 11 under for the tournament to be tied sixth and three shots clear of compatriot Sarah Jane Smith who shared 15th spot.

The 19-year-old Lee, who won at Hawaii last month, was among four players three strokes back after a roller-coaster even-par 72.

Lee was four over through the first four holes in a round that included two double bogeys, three birdies and an eagle.

Jutanugarn had four birdies and three bogeys a day after tying the tournament record with a 63, but didn't repeat two previous failed attempts to keep a Sunday (Monday AEST) lead.

She gave cheering fans a wave and smile as she approached the final green, chipping to five feet to set up a par putt.

Yang bogeyed the 17th in a 67 while Lewis shot her third straight 68, a score matched by Pressel.

Lewis had her 10th runner-up finish in a 49-event drought. The 11-time tour winner has 23 career second-place finishes.
