Kasiano re-signs with Canterbury

Sam Kasiano has signed a new three-year deal that will keep him with Canterbury until the end of the 2018 NRL season.

Giant prop Sam Kasiano has signed a new three-year contract with Canterbury that will keep him at the NRL club until the end of 2018.

The 24-year-old, who made his debut in 2011, has since gone on to make 74 appearances in the top grade and become a regular member of the New Zealand Test side.

"It's great," Kasiano said.

"It's a great club, great bunch of guys and it's awesome that I know I will be here for another three years."

"Des (Hasler) is one the best coaches in the game and I'm happy that I can continue to learn from him.

"I've had a tough run with injuries lately so I'm just looking to string some games together."
